To buy or not to buy?

image from Boots website

The Soap and Glory set from Boots goes on sale this Friday 14th December! The set is currently on sale for £60 but contains over £70 worth of products. In the sale it goes down to £27!

They reduce the giant soap and glory set every year usually the week before Christmas so it's always worth waiting till then to get it.

I didn't get it last year but I did get it the year before but i'm undecided whether to pick it up this year! Simply because I have loads of S&G products on the go at the moment and am really trying to reduce all the products that I have but who can resist a good deal?

The offer goes on till Thursday 20th December but they end to sell quite quickly.

  • Clean On Me shower gel, 500ml (£5.50)
  • The Righteous Butter body butter, 300ml (£10.50)
  • Peaches and Clean cleansing milk, 200ml (£7)
  • Sugar Crush body scrub, 300ml (£8)
  • Heel Genius foot mask, 125ml (£5.50)
  • Smoothie Star body lotion, 500ml (£10)
  • Hand Food hand cream, 125ml (£5)
  • Super-Colour Sexy Mother Pucker lip plumper in Punch Bowl, 3ml (£9)
  • Thick and Fast mascara, 10ml (£10)

I love Soap & Glory's Clean On Me and have just finished mine so it's tempting, you can see my review for it here.

I am using up a bottle of Peaches and Clean at the moment and it is definitely something that I will repurchase when it's finished.

I've actually tried all the body products expect Heel Genius and the Smoothie Star Body Lotion before and really like them all.

But, I'm not really a fan of the Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Plumper and for some reason that is putting me of trying the mascara.

After writing all the products out and realising that I do really like most of them, I think I am going to try and get this on Friday :)

You can order it online too but there is a £2.95 p&p charge.

Will any of you be getting this?

  1. Seems like a great deal! I'm a little sad that we don't have the sugar crush products in the US. I just recently started using the righteous butter & I'm hooked on it! I'm hoping Santa brings me a few more things to try =) xx

Astrid & Miyu

Astrid and Miyu have become pretty big in the piercing world. I've been fond of their items for a little while but thought they were quite a pricey brand. Although, when I actually had a proper look on their website, I realised there were some reasonable items on there. They are very kindly offering 30% off to NHS staff at the moment so I decided it would be a good time to try a few pieces. I went for a pair of huggies earrings and a pair of studs to wear together.  I have my lobe, upper lobe and left helix pierced. My body doesn't actually respond very well to piercings; I've found the healing time to be long and quite painful. The first time I had my ears pierced at around age 7, I found out I was allergic to gold and had to let them close up. However, once my piercings are healed I find that I can wear gold. I had them re-pierced with titanium at a tattoo shop with belly rings as I don't think titanium was readily available at the time. I remember a dark tatt

My Roaccutane Journey

This post is more audience specific than usual but I hope it may be of help to anyone going through a similar situation. I want to give you an insight into my Roaccutane journey as I know I often turned to searching Google for answers. Never did I think i’d be posting this on the internet but here goes... Onto the back story, I had oily/ combination skin as a teenager and suffered with the usual teenage spots that cleared up as I approached my 20’s. Later, I was on the combined contraceptive pill and decided to take a break from it when I was around 23. I stopped it for 6 months and was hit with a backlash. Stopping the pill and a change in hormones is the only explanation I can put my breakout down to. My skin broke out significantly. I had courses of Lymecycline prescribed and Zineryt (Zinc & Erythromycin) Topical Lotion. With minimal success from these, I was referred to a dermatologist. BEFORE Before all of this, I could probably count the number of times

Top Nail Varnish Picks For Autumn/ Winter

Autumn/ Winter to me means wearing a lot of grey and black with bursts of khaki and burgundy for colour. Literally, if I see anything khaki coloured, i'm in love and now that's transitioned into my nail varnish thanks to last month's Glossybox.  Here are my current go to nail varnishes, although I did place a Boots order on Cyber Monday for some of the Revlon Gel Envy polishes so there could be some additions to this soon! Nails Inc Gel Effect Polish in 'Kensington High Street' Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in 'Plums the Word' Color Club Nail Lacquer in 'Barely There' Color Club Nail Lacquer in 'Glossy Seal' Nails Inc London Polish in 'Battersea Park'       Color Club Nail Varnishes have a great opaque consistency and you can easily get away with one coat. I actually prefer the regular Nails Inc varnishes over the gel effect ones but I love this burgundy shade. Sally Hansen varnishes have a great
