Shopping in Tamworth :)

Ryan's football match was cancelled today because of the snow so we decided to go out for the day. I've done quite well with my spending ban considering today is the 28th of the month but I definitely wouldn't manage the 100 day ban that some people are doing! We headed over to Tamworth and here are some of the things that I got:

All of my favourite leggings have come from Topshop. I laready had these in the pale blue version so I decided to pick up the darker pair, £22. I also got this set of six rings for only £2.50. You can get some bargains in their jewellery sale.

The T K Maxx there was really nice and it's one of my favourite shops anyway! Everything was so tidy and the stock in there was really good. There were some really nice OPI nail varnishes that I considered but I have so many that i'm sticking to nail varnish ban for the time been.

I needed some skinny belts for work. These were £7.99 for 2 and they are Steve Madden which is quite exciting.

It's been so nice seeing the sun out today and this is definitely a piece for spring. I always love pink and neon is set to be big next season so this will be perfect. It was £14.99.

These cute lantern things were in clearance at Hobbycraft for £1 each. I'm planning on using them for make up storage, maybe cotton wool or maybe even lipsticks or something.

Boots have a 3 for 2 offer on Batiste at the moment so I used 598 advantage card points to get these :) In my last haul post I picked up the Superdrug's own brand but I am not at all impressed and am thinking of just putting them in the bin as they don't do anything! Sticking to my trusty Batiste from now on.

Top Nail Varnish Picks For Autumn/ Winter

Autumn/ Winter to me means wearing a lot of grey and black with bursts of khaki and burgundy for colour. Literally, if I see anything khaki coloured, i'm in love and now that's transitioned into my nail varnish thanks to last month's Glossybox.  Here are my current go to nail varnishes, although I did place a Boots order on Cyber Monday for some of the Revlon Gel Envy polishes so there could be some additions to this soon! Nails Inc Gel Effect Polish in 'Kensington High Street' Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in 'Plums the Word' Color Club Nail Lacquer in 'Barely There' Color Club Nail Lacquer in 'Glossy Seal' Nails Inc London Polish in 'Battersea Park'       Color Club Nail Varnishes have a great opaque consistency and you can easily get away with one coat. I actually prefer the regular Nails Inc varnishes over the gel effect ones but I love this burgundy shade. Sally Hansen varnishes have a great

Astrid & Miyu

Astrid and Miyu have become pretty big in the piercing world. I've been fond of their items for a little while but thought they were quite a pricey brand. Although, when I actually had a proper look on their website, I realised there were some reasonable items on there. They are very kindly offering 30% off to NHS staff at the moment so I decided it would be a good time to try a few pieces. I went for a pair of huggies earrings and a pair of studs to wear together.  I have my lobe, upper lobe and left helix pierced. My body doesn't actually respond very well to piercings; I've found the healing time to be long and quite painful. The first time I had my ears pierced at around age 7, I found out I was allergic to gold and had to let them close up. However, once my piercings are healed I find that I can wear gold. I had them re-pierced with titanium at a tattoo shop with belly rings as I don't think titanium was readily available at the time. I remember a dark tatt

Statement Necklaces - NEXT

I have been searching for the perfect statement necklaces for so long without success. I'm a bit too fussy you see. The majority of statement necklaces in the shops are gold and it's rare for me to wear gold jewellery; I much prefer silver! In all the shops i've looked in, there has always been something not quite right: too big, too spiky or the wrong colour. I'd actually given up hunting for one but this morning, I ventured into NEXT. Next isn't somewhere that I usually go into but I was surprised at how many nice things they have and there were definitely a few that I wanted! I couldn't choose between the following two necklaces so treated myself to both! They were quite hard to photograph but i've linked the items so you can check out the stock photos on the NEXT website.
