January Empties

I'm quite surprised at how many items i've finished this month but also glad because it's a start to me shrinking my current collection to a manageable level!

Beyonce Heat Perfume - I didn't mind using this up as I already have another bigger bottle of this waiting to be opened. We actually sell this where I work so I get a lot of perfumes for a good price. This is a strong scent so more of a night time choice. I prefer the Heat Rush version which is really fruity.

Revlon Colorstay Foundation - My ultimate favourite and I am going to repurchase it very soon. I've finished off two bottles this month as i'm fed up of half empty bottles everywhere. I wear shade 150 in winter and 180 Sand Beige in summer.

Bath and Bodyworks Anti Bacterial Gel in Apple - This was delicious(not that I ate it aha) i'm going to purchase a bunch as mentioned in my February Wishlist here.

Boots essentials make up remover pads £1.50 - Considering the price these were really really good, I would repurchase them in the future but am impressed with the No7 eye make up remover at the moment!

Boots Mini Cocoa Butter - Emma bought me a set of these minature body butters for Christmas as seen here. I never did get round to doing my Christmas Haul Part 2 but it;s definitely too late for that now! I love these body butters, they are really moisturising and excellent quality. I like the fact that they are small too as I can throw one in my bag for when i'm staying out overnight.

Soap and Glory Righteous Butter - LOVE - I love all of the Soap and Glory products and already have a replacement which I got in the bumper Christmas set. It smells nice, It's really moisturising but i'm sure that you all know that already!

Batiste Dry Shampoo - I really shouldn't even bother mentioning this anymore, it's here every month, my all time staple!

Schwarzkopf Supersoft Volume Boost Conditioner - This is apple flavoured and smells lovely! I'm still working my way through the shampoo and it only cost me £1 from work.

Body Shop Strawberry Body Polish - (not pictured, my mum threw it away :/) This was a big bottle so i'm proud of myself for actually finishing it! I love strawberries so anything with that scent is yummy.

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Transparent - another staple item, i've never seen a bad review on this and considering I go through one of these every month i'm glad its only £3.99!

  1. Revlon Colorstay Foundations are great!
I really want to try the Rimmel Stay Matta powder!

Astrid & Miyu

Astrid and Miyu have become pretty big in the piercing world. I've been fond of their items for a little while but thought they were quite a pricey brand. Although, when I actually had a proper look on their website, I realised there were some reasonable items on there. They are very kindly offering 30% off to NHS staff at the moment so I decided it would be a good time to try a few pieces. I went for a pair of huggies earrings and a pair of studs to wear together.  I have my lobe, upper lobe and left helix pierced. My body doesn't actually respond very well to piercings; I've found the healing time to be long and quite painful. The first time I had my ears pierced at around age 7, I found out I was allergic to gold and had to let them close up. However, once my piercings are healed I find that I can wear gold. I had them re-pierced with titanium at a tattoo shop with belly rings as I don't think titanium was readily available at the time. I remember a dark tatt

OOTD: I'll Show You

After quite a long break, I really want to start blogging regularly again. Time really does run away from us so let's see how this goes.... First up, an outfit of the day featuring my favourite store: River Island. Striped Shirt: River Island £36 Black Joni Jeans: Topshop £36 Boots: River Island £50 (last year) I went on a bit of a spending spree a few weeks ago ahead of the Christmas festivities as I wanted to top up my wardrobe with some pieces I could throw on for last minute plans. I like the design of the shirt although I don't think the cut is very flattering. Topshop Joni Jeans are my absolute favourite, the cut and fit is perfect and I think they have used new material lately that will actually stay black and not fade to a washed out grey. I regretted buying these boots last year as I've hardly worn them and contemplated getting rid of them but I decided to pair them up with this outfit and thought they went quite well so maybe I should try

My Roaccutane Journey

This post is more audience specific than usual but I hope it may be of help to anyone going through a similar situation. I want to give you an insight into my Roaccutane journey as I know I often turned to searching Google for answers. Never did I think i’d be posting this on the internet but here goes... Onto the back story, I had oily/ combination skin as a teenager and suffered with the usual teenage spots that cleared up as I approached my 20’s. Later, I was on the combined contraceptive pill and decided to take a break from it when I was around 23. I stopped it for 6 months and was hit with a backlash. Stopping the pill and a change in hormones is the only explanation I can put my breakout down to. My skin broke out significantly. I had courses of Lymecycline prescribed and Zineryt (Zinc & Erythromycin) Topical Lotion. With minimal success from these, I was referred to a dermatologist. BEFORE Before all of this, I could probably count the number of times
