Glossybox April 2013

This month's Glossybox was a special edition designed by Pearl Lowe; how cute is the packaging!  3 out of the 5 products are winners for me this month and I can make use of the other 2. The winner has definitely got to be the Essie Nail Varnish in Geranium £7.99.  Recently the only brand of nail varnish that I have been buying is Essie and at £8 a pop they're a little pricey so along with all the other subscribers i'm definitely not complaining! I have liked all of the other products that I have used from Balance Me before. This is their Balance Me Radiance Face Mask.  I've used this already; it has light exfoliating grains in, smells good and has a nice texture.  Richard Ward Style Spray - This is the least exciting product for me in the box. I'm lazy when it comes to my hair and i'd rather not put too much product in it but i'll give it a go at some point.  Nip + Fab Mango Body Butter -  I've wanted to try the pistachio

OOTN - Asos Disco Pants

Jacket - New Look Vest Top - H&M Disco Pants - ASOS  - £30 Heels - Treds I actually ordered these ASOS Disco Pants on Ebay brand new with the tags because they were £6 cheaper. I was expecting black ones but they sent navy instead. They've sat on the side for 2 weeks and I haven't had chance to send them back so i've decided to keep them.  I've tried the American Apparel ones on and they were really long and didn't fit nicely enough for me to justify spending £70 on them but I'm am really impressed with these ASOS ones. They are a perfect fit (I got a size 10), they look a little scrunched in the picture but they fit really well. I'm tempted to order the black ones now like I wanted originally. Before ordering them, I had a look online for reviews and there was hardly anything so I took a bit of a risk and went for them but i'm really pleased with them! Viva Glam Nicki MAC Lipstick

So, I finally picked up Nicki Minaj's MAC Lipstick (the original), most of you have already moved on to the new edition but I thought that I would get more wear out of the original. I contemplated getting it all over the Easter weekend as Debenham's had 10% of all MAC products. So, it would've been £12.60 instead of £14. I decided that I didn't need it and could live without it only to leave the tab open to tempt me everyday thereafter. I actually ended up purchasing it on Wednesday for full price - fail. It's brighter than I expected but it'll be a good spring/summer colour. I haven't really reached for it since i've had it, so slightly disappointed with it. Hopefully I'll be able to make it work for me. What do you all think of it? xxxx Tasha

March Empties

Hope you've all had a lovely Easter! It's gone too quick as always. I've felt rough all weekend and could've done with not going back to work today. I went to Alton Towers yesterday and it was freezing. I didn't wear enough layers and ended up paying £45 for a Bench jumper that I wouldn't normally wear! Here are the products that I used up in March: Sure Glimmer Flowers and Lime Deodorant - I hate the smell of deodorants but I love lime so I thought I might be able to cope with this one. I finished it but it was still a deodorant smell, I might have to try an unscented one. John Frieda Sheer Blonde Moisturising Shampoo -  Finally finished this, I use so much more conditioner than shampoo. I like this and would repurchase it but for now i'm going to use up my reserves of shampoo because i've accumulated way too many bottles! Colgate Plax Whitening Mouthwash - This did the job of a mouthwash but I didn't see any whitening effect. I'd l
